Just a quick update to all the users of my Royal Ribbon Tumblr theme..

I’ve just submitted a revision of my theme to the Tumblr Theme Garden that contains a few code fixes and also some new simple features that people have been asking for - most notably post tags, an archive link and the ability to change the background of your blog.

It’ll most likely take a few hours/days for the update to be approved by the Tumblr theme moderators but as I’m running the latest copy on my blog already please notify me of any issues with the theme as I’ll need to get them fixed asap.

In other news, if you like my theme I would really appreciate it if you could recommend me to be featured in the Tumblr designers directory here. I’m hoping to produce some more themes in the near future and being featured in this directory will help me get a bit more exposure for them.

Just a quick post regarding my new Tumblr theme Royal Ribbon. I released the theme last Saturday and since then it has become featured on Tumblr, installed almost 2,500 times and also been featured in a Mashable article. So yeah, thanks to everyone who installed the theme for all that!

Since releasing the theme I’ve noticed a few small issues regarding spacing in the theme (such as in image posts) which are of very minor importance in the theme itself but have been bugging me personally. I am hoping to get them all fixed in the next release of the theme which I hope should be sometime in the next few days.

There are also several new features coming to the theme within the next few weeks that people have been requesting via email/Tumblr’s ask anything feature, such as archived posts.
